MAHA GOAT charges a flat and transparent 2% buyer commission and 2% seller commission (4% total platform commission) based on the agreed selling price. For example, on a ₹10,000 transaction, the buyer contributes ₹200 and the seller contributes ₹200. Zero hidden charges or subscription fees apply.
When you click "Detect My Location" on the Nearby Sellers page, your browser securely detects your approximate coordinates. The system uses the Haversine mathematical formula to calculate straight-line distance to nearby sellers within 5, 10, 20, or 50 km. For seller privacy, exact home coordinates are never published publicly.
Registered users can go to their Seller Dashboard and click "Farmer Verification". You can upload a photo of your Kisan Credit Card, 7/12 land extract, or government identity along with your farm details. Our administrative team verifies and awards the green Verified badge within 24 to 48 hours.
We strongly advise buyers to physically inspect goats before confirming a purchase. If a seller posts misleading age, weight, or photos, you can decline the transaction and click "Report Listing" from the listing page. Our moderation team investigates and suspends repeat offenders.
